Paneltek "Engobe" applies special glazes on the surface of terracotta to simulate different natural character of the material. Engobe finish is long lasting treatment, we apply enamel before firing process, so both panel and surface engobe go through 7-8 hours firing process under 1200°C which result in its long lasting feature. Engobe terracotta can have lower water absorption and better weathering resistance. Applying engobe coating endows terracotta products new characteristic element, even with very bright or shining metallic color can be achieved, and whole project will be covered by specail decorative elements with unique design and stand out among others.
